Grinding methods
Grinding is defined as machining with geometrically undefined cutting edges.
The advantages of grinding over other machining methods are as follows:
- Good machining of hard materials
- High dimensional and shape accuracy
- Good surface finish quality
The individual grinding methods are subdivided into the following groups:
