The concentration of CBN (specification V) and diamond (specification C) in the abrasive wheel or, in other words, the quantity of grain per cm³ of coating volume, is also regulated by the FEPA standard.
The concentration C75, for example, corresponds to 3.3 carats/cm³ (1 carat = 0.2g) and thus contains approx. 18.75% abrasive.

Even if the concentration is a major factor in costing, concentrations that are too low should be avoided. Edge and profile accuracy
could be significantly reduced, while wear will be inefficiently high.
